Ways to get more involved

Since many have been asking about how they can get involved with volunteering or donating with both Handing Out Hope and the Phoenix Dream Center, here are some projects we are currently working on. TIA and god bless!!

  1. Ladies Breakfast
Every Saturday from 8:30 am to 1 pm. A safe place for trafficked women to come have a home-cooked breakfast, shop of clothing, socks, undergarments, and toiletries. Counselors are on site for resources, support as well to aid them in the healing process. Around 20 beautiful souls join us every week and it is an amazing experience. Female volunteers are welcome and must be over 18 years of age.
  2. Servicing the “Forgotten Community”
Thursdays from 2 pm-5pm we are servicing the ‘Forgotten Community” an apartment complex in PHX. We set up in the parking lot and have organized this with the property management company. Last week was our first week and we serviced about 50 children (ages 3 to early teens) 2pm-3pm crafts and games are played, 3pm-4pm “shopping” for toys, clothes, toiletries, laundry detergent, diapers, wipes, socks, underwear, and other items. 4pm-5pm they attended bible study. We smothered them with hope, love, and support. A handful of parents joined us and left with a food box. HOH really is loving this outreach since you get to see the smiles and love on these beautiful children. All are welcome to attend this outreach and all age volunteers are welcome as well. Contact us for more information.

Thank you!
